Accounting and bookkeeping services for UAE businesses

Alliance CA provides accounting and bookkeeping services from Deira, Dubai, for businesses across the UAE. Our packages cover posting your sales and purchase invoices, recording expenses and payments, bank reconciliation, ledger maintenance and preparing your financial statements, with routine accounting support within the agreed scope. Ongoing accounting starts from AED 1,000 per month, exclusive of VAT, with the final fee agreed after scoping your work.

How much do accounting and bookkeeping services cost in Dubai?

Our accounting and bookkeeping packages start from AED 1,000 a month for turnover up to AED 5 million, AED 2,250 for AED 5–10 million and AED 3,000 above AED 10 million, all exclusive of VAT.

  • Every package includes: accounting and bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, and routine incidental accounting support.
  • Every engagement also includes: a dedicated relationship manager, real-time MIS and analytics reporting, cloud accounting and ERP support, deadline and compliance tracking, and a direct WhatsApp support line.
  • Billed or quoted separately: the accounting platform fee, backlog cleanup and software migration.
  • Not part of the accounting package: VAT and corporate tax filing, audit support, complex restructuring, transfer pricing and responding to regulatory notices.

The final fee depends on complexity, the state of your records, transaction volume and the number of business locations, and is confirmed after a complimentary scoping call. Compare all packages on the pricing page.

Do you file our VAT and corporate tax returns?

Not within the accounting package. Our Compliance & Finance package, from AED 1,800 a month for turnover up to AED 5 million (AED 2,500 for AED 5–10 million and AED 3,500 above AED 10 million), adds the accounting platform subscription, preparation and filing of your VAT and corporate tax returns, and one complimentary visit a month. Or keep accounting on its own and add standalone filing: VAT returns from AED 500 and corporate tax returns from AED 1,000 per tax period, both exclusive of VAT. For senior finance support as well, see what a fractional CFO package includes.

What do you receive each month?

Each month we post your transactions, reconcile your bank accounts and keep your ledgers current on your cloud accounting platform, and real-time MIS and analytics reporting shows where you stand. Which reports you receive, and the dates they arrive, are agreed during scoping. For questions, you have a dedicated relationship manager and a direct WhatsApp support line.

How do you take over our books?

We start with a complimentary scoping call, then collect your documents and access to your records:

  1. Scoping call. We discuss your turnover, transaction volume, entities and bank accounts, your accounting platform and any periods that are behind.
  2. Proposal and engagement letter. Once you accept our proposal, we send you the engagement letter to sign.
  3. Company documents. Your trade licence, and the passport and Emirates ID of each owner, or of the owner for a non-corporate client.
  4. Accounting records. Access to your accounting system or historical accounting data up to the start date, last year's audited or unaudited financial statements, this year's sales and expense invoices, and your bank statements.
  5. EmaraTax access, if VAT or corporate tax work is in scope.

What if our books are behind?

We reconstruct and reconcile the missing periods, even several years of records, and bring you up to date; backlog cleanup is quoted separately from the monthly fee. Corporate tax returns are due nine months after the end of your financial year (Corporate Tax Law, Article 53), so start the cleanup well before your next filing date. Our free health check shows where your books, VAT and corporate tax stand.

How do we switch accountants or accounting software?

Start between filing deadlines rather than just before one, and ask your current firm for a handover pack: trial balance, ledgers, fixed asset register, VAT and corporate tax workings, and bank reconciliations (our guide to choosing an accounting firm). Check who holds your accounting platform subscription, so you keep access to your records. If you are moving platform, we set up, migrate and configure Xero, QuickBooks, Tally and ERP systems; software migration is quoted separately.

Why do your books matter for corporate tax?

Corporate tax starts from the accounting net profit or loss in your financial statements (FTA guide). For corporate tax, those statements must follow IFRS, or IFRS for SMEs where revenue does not exceed AED 50 million, and a business with revenue of up to AED 3 million may use the cash basis instead (FTA guide). Corporate tax records must be kept for seven years after the end of the tax period they relate to (Corporate Tax Law, Article 56). Read how accounting profit becomes taxable profit and which corporate tax records to keep.

For tax periods starting on or after 1 January 2025, a business that is not in a tax group and has revenue above AED 50 million must prepare audited financial statements, as must every Qualifying Free Zone Person; a tax group prepares audited special-purpose financial statements (Ministerial Decision No. 84 of 2025). We prepare the financial statements, and your appointed external auditor audits them and issues the audit report. Audit preparation and coordination is a separate service: see Audit & Assurance.

Questions about outsourced accounting

What is the difference between bookkeeping and accounting?

Bookkeeping records and reconciles each transaction, such as sales, purchases, expenses, payments and bank movements, while accounting turns those records into management accounts and financial statements. Your VAT returns draw on the records, and your corporate tax starts from the profit in the statements. Our monthly packages cover both.

Do you audit our accounts?

No. We keep your books and prepare your financial statements; if your company needs an audit, your appointed external auditor carries it out and issues the audit report. Our Audit & Assurance service covers audit preparation and coordination with that auditor.
